Please Note - my personal and Skate Fitness Facebook pages have been hacked and suspended as a result. I am appealing the decision but in the meantime, it means I can only be contacted via the Skate Fitness Instagram page or the chat function of the website. It also means that I can not set up events so keep an eye on the Instagram page for event details and session timings.

What Can Skate Fitness Do For You?
Get fit while having fun
I offer two weekly skating sessions which vary week to week to keep you on your toes!
More than just getting you into shape, my Tuesday Foundation sessions teach the basic skating skills and are suitable for those just starting their skating journey, (only available April to September) and the Thursday Skate Fitness sessions are more suitable to more experienced skaters and are cardio focused fitness sessions which help with improving fitness, endurance, building strength, improving balance, and help you improve your overall skating skill level. (Available all year round).

Suitable for absolute beginners and experienced skaters alike, my foundation sessions will have you skating like the pros in no time.

Thursdays - Endurance and Cardio
Strength & Stamina
Get your blood pumping. Health and fitness is as much about what your body looks like on the outside as it is about how it functions on the inside. Your heart is a muscle too, and my workouts will get your heart-rate up. Your body will thank you for it!

Skating for fitness will improve your stamina, core strength, endurance and skating style. This element of my program will help improve your fitness and have you feeling great.

All sessions - Core Strength, Coordination and Balance
Feel strong
Roller skating helps improve balance with the strength of abdominal and lower-back muscles, since you must maintain a steady core to stay upright. Coordinating balance and leg movement improves coordination.

All sessions - Group Fitness
Have fun, make friends
While your workout and progress is very much your workout and progress, and not influenced by the other skaters in the group, everyone is doing the same activity at any given time, creating a fun, connected group feel to the sessions.
I am proud to say that Skate Fitness sessions are friendly, supportive and relaxed. Everybody is welcome and it is an environment where it would be very easy to make some lovely new friends.
